“The contemporary education system involves around stimulating and awakening the students from the very core of their being and equipping them to develop and improve their innovative abilities”. I am immensely honoured to be the Manager of The Dawn Public School as I have been witnessing the victorious voyage of our school through all these years. Involving all our students perfectly to the system of the school, paved the way for attaining excellence in various curricular and co-curricular activities. At this moment, I would like to reminiscence the words of Tom Bodett on the importance of involving students rightly in the system of education, “Tell me I’ll forget; show me and I may remember; involve me and I’ll understand”. Our institution is the one that endows favourable chances to fit up students create appropriate organizational structures and manage innovation. In addition to the relevance given to the scholastic areas of education, we provide our children various enrichment programmes like yoga, taekwondo etc.

Keeping abreast with the latest technologies and scientific developments, our school has tied up with Extramarks Pvt. Ltd for providing the amenity of smart classes for our students. Around 13 smart classes have been functioning in the school since 2012. Language Lab facility is the other key feature of our school that aid our children acquire accurate pronunciation of English words. Apart from the Communicative English classes the Language Lab plays a significant role in enriching the children with the excellent fluency in English language.

The abundant green ambience in serene surroundings with all kinds of infrastructural facilities make The Dawn Public School one of the top most schools in Cochin. Among these facilities the playground of our school plays a relevant role because it allows our children spend their leisure time admiring the tranquil atmosphere and the gentle breeze that blows from the ‘Vembanad Back Waters’ equip children feel the gentle touch and pampering of mother nature as well.

As we know children are akin to the buds and it is our accountability to form them as the worthwhile flower of tomorrow, which in short implies “Character of the student should be formed along with their education.” Having this aim in mind we encourage all kinds of charity initiatives which include ‘I share’, a charity endeavour with which we could help the downtrodden people at a certain extent. We give utmost priority to Malayala Manorama’s initiative ‘Nalla Padam’ programme. Numerous worthy deeds had been conducted as part of Nalla Padam in our school. Above all these we are very much delighted to have an esteemed and proficient cluster of teachers in our school. Our teachers with their genuine and earnest work fortify the strength of the school in a very fabulous way.

As it’s being the 18th year of The Dawn Public School, I would like to convey my wholehearted gleefulness to all our dear parents and well-wishers of the school for extending their valuable support throughout all our ventures. I am very much certain that the voyage of our school would be continuing in the coming years with more fervor to be an amazing school which comprises of a ravishing group of excellent students.
